We are the oldest, most unique and most social hostel in Switzerland! Balmers is situated in traditional Swiss wooden chalets that are surrounded by a courtyard, terraces and an amazing biergarden. But this is not all, check below for more reasons to come visit us.

CLEAN, SPACIOUS AND CONVIVIAL
We provide a fully equipped guest kitchen with storage for dry food and two large fridges. You can buy good produce from the nearby supermarket around the corner. Be sure to label your food. All cutlery, pots and pans are available for your use.

Beer and sunshine = happiness!
Come to relax after a long day exploring on our terrace. Get a cool drink during warm summer evenings and meet others whilst competing in Trivia or during our BYO bbq’s

We have free super fast WiFi. Period.
We have high speed free WiFi through out the common areas and rooms in the hostel for guests. We also have fixed computer terminals through the hostel if you don’t have your own devices.If you need any printing you can ask at reception, they are happy to print for a small fee.
