Quem é Balmers Hostel?
Somos o hostel mais antigo e divertido da Suíça! Estamos situados em três tradicionais chalés de madeira suíços que cercam um pátio, terraços e jardim. A aparência da nossa acomodação pode ser melhor descrita como divertida, confortável e única.
Para quem é o Balmers Hostel?
Balmers Hostel é para viajantes de mente aberta e descontraídos de 18 anos ou mais procurarem mais do que apenas um lugar para dormir.
Se você está aqui para explorar os Alpes suíços, conhecer pessoas com idéias semelhantes de todo o mundo ou simplesmente relaxar e apreciar a vibração-Balmers é sua casa longe de casa.
Congratulamo -nos com viajantes solo, grupos de até 8 pessoas e qualquer pessoa com um senso de aventura e respeito pelos outros.
Que horas são o cheque e verifique para fora?
O check-in começa às 16h/o check-out é até às 10h. No check-out pedimos a gentileza de trazer os lençóis, bem como as capas de edredom e travesseiros.

Sim, mas você terá que fazer o check-in online. Em seguida, prepararemos suas chaves para que você possa chegar ao seu quarto após o fechamento da recepção.
Como faço para chegar ao albergue da estação de trem / estação de autocarros?
De ônibus:
Da estação Interlaken West, pegue o ônibus número 105 e desça na parada Hotel Sonne. Isso leva 5 minutos
Da estação Ost apanhe o autocarro número 104 e desça na paragem Hotel Sonne. Isso leva 5 minutos
Estamos a cerca de 30 metros de ambas as paradas. A tarifa de ônibus custa Sfr 3,80 por pessoa. Os ônibus começam a circular das 07h00 às 20h30. Assim que você chegar ao albergue, forneceremos um passe de ônibus gratuito para sua conveniência e para o restante da sua estadia.

Demora cerca de 20 minutos de ambas as estações
Da estação de West Interlaken – sair da estação virar à esquerda e seguir pela rua principal, virar à direita na rotatória logo após o Mc Donalds descer. Fique do lado esquerdo da estrada e caminhe em frente até ver placas marrons apontando para Balmers. Siga estes sinais
Como chegar em Balmers saindo da estação Interlaken West
Da estação Interlaken Ost – saia direto da estação, entre o banco e o shopping Coop, passe direto por duas rotatórias e siga as placas marrons para Balmers.
Você também pode obter um táxi por cerca de 15 chf ou estação ferroviária.

Do Aeroporto:
Temos três grandes aeroportos, Zurique, Genebra e Basileia

❤️ When I wake up in the morning, open the curtains, and see the white snow that piled up overnight, I think, `Ah, this is the real winter..!`
In times like this, skiing and snowboarding would be the icing on the cake, but if you can`t, don`t worry. There`s a sled! I`ll tell you all about the most beautiful sections I`ve seen while sledding in Interlaken every year, as well as tips on how to safely sledding.
🛷 Route 1) Eiger Gletscher > Kleinegg Scheidegg > Brandeck > Grindelwald Grund
Difficulty (High)
You can sledding at Jungfraujoch, but the sections are very limited, like in Korea. Instead, if you ride from Eiger Gletscher, you`ll go down a total of 13 kilometers to Grindelwald Grund Station, which is very exciting. (Stamina is important)
🚃How to get there: Interlaken Ost Station > Grindelwald Terminal Station and go to the Intersport store (You have to go down 1 floor from the station) Rent a sled > Take the Eiger Gletzer gondola > Get off at Eiger Gletzer Station > Take the elevator down > Go outside the building > Start the purple section.
🛷Route 2) Kleine Scheidegg > Brandeck > Grindelwald Grund
Difficulty (Medium)
Recommended for those who are afraid of the Eiger Gletzer section. This section is not as steep as the Eiger Gletzer, so you can enjoy going down slowly. It`s dreamy and beautiful when you pass through the forest.
🚃How to get there: Interlaken Ost Station > Lauterbrunnen Station > Kleine Scheidegg Station > Arrive at Grindelwald Grund for sledding

🛷Route 3) First > Grindelwald
Difficulty (medium-high)
You need stamina because you have to sled down 11 kilometers!
I can`t tell you how beautiful it is!
It`s also my favorite section.

❄️ Ice Walk on Oeschinensee Lake ❄️
In winter, this stunning Swiss lake freezes over, creating a magical Ice Walk!
The Ice Walk is usually open from January to early March, but check the website for the status before heading out. I checked today and it`s open now!
A marked loop on the ice lets you safely explore—just follow the sticks indicating the path. Ice skating is sometimes allowed, but bring your own skates! ⛸️
How to get there:
🚆 Train to Kandersteg
🚠 15 min walk to gondola station
🎟️ CHF 32 round trip (50% off with Swiss Travel Pass, Half Fare Card, or GA)
🥾 30 min walk to the lake (no snowshoes needed!)
⚠️ Check signs for ice conditions (Level 1 = safest) before stepping onto the lake! You do this at your own risk.
🌟 Don’t forget to grab lunch at Berggasthaus Oeschinensee before heading back!
