Going back home after an amazing trip in Switzerland and don't know what souvenirs to bring back?

Don't worry, just follow our advice and return safely home with your suitcase full of the perfect Swiss souvenirs.

Here is our Swiss souvenirs shopping list:

1. Chocolate

Swiss chocolate doesn't have to be expensive to be a good souvenir. So skip buying it from any souvenir shop or worse from the airport. Just go to a regular shop like Migro or Coop and buy the best chocolate of the world. Swiss chocolate is so good that you can buy delicious brands from any supermarket.

Nós recomendamos Lindt, Toblerone, and even Migro's brand

4. Relógios

Presente duradouro.
Would you like to offer a gift that will never be forgotten?

The term "Swiss Made" is not only to attest to the origin of the product, it is above all a seal of approval and a quality mark recognized throughout the world. The cheapest option is Amostra. You can find really good quality watches for around CHF 50.- and you can find them in a variety of colors and designs.

5. Relógio cuco

Unfortunately, the cuckoo clock is not originally from Switzerland. It comes from the Black Forest, in Germany. However, if you would like to buy one, then Interlaken is home to the genuine Swiss Cuckoo Clock.

Lötscher clocks are the original Swiss cuckoo clock and the one you want. They are made of linden wood, carved in Brienz, and assembled in Zürich. They are quite expensive, a small Lötscher starts at CHF 180.- If you want a cheaper one, you can find a real cuckoo clock around CHF 50.-

You can also find a smaller one and if you do have not much space in your luggage, think about a magnet one.

6. Cow Bell

A Swiss cowbell is a unique and charming souvenir, perfect for any traveler. In Appenzell, Switzerland, herdsmen lead their cows up into the hills in Spring and back down in Fall, known as the Alpine Cow Parade. The cows wear bells that create a delightful tinkling sound, with the most prized cows carrying the largest ones.

Bringing home a cowbell is a wonderful way to celebrate the region’s rich traditions. They’re easy to find in local shops, available in various sizes, and often decorated with colorful cloth, tassels, or embroidery. It's a fun and creative memento of your time in the beautiful Appenzell region
