6. Cow Bell
A Swiss cowbell is a unique and charming souvenir, perfect for any traveler. In Appenzell, Switzerland, herdsmen lead their cows up into the hills in Spring and back down in Fall, known as the Alpine Cow Parade. The cows wear bells that create a delightful tinkling sound, with the most prized cows carrying the largest ones.
Bringing home a cowbell is a wonderful way to celebrate the region’s rich traditions. They’re easy to find in local shops, available in various sizes, and often decorated with colorful cloth, tassels, or embroidery. It's a fun and creative memento of your time in the beautiful Appenzell region
