Interlaken is a wonderful Swiss city and is well known for its traditional swiss cuisine but with the plant-based revolution, you can now find all you need as a vegetarian as well as for a vegan. So yes, for all y’all hungry herbivores wondering… Interlaken has got it going on for vegetarian dining. Now, it’s more than possible to eat your way around the world while remaining wholly plant-based; whether you’re craving a Thai takeaway, Lebanese delicatessen, or American fast food, you can find a vegan restaurant dedicated to doing it.
Our favorite vegetarian restaurants in Interlaken
라야리 베이루트
Layaly Beirut is a Lebanese restaurant, a cuisine that comes with many vegetarian options (best falafel!). It’s our favorite restaurant of Interlaken and we can highly recommend the LAYALY MEZA, especially when you are with multiple people as it consists out of multiple small plates spread out of multiple courses. Just make sure to mention that you are vegetarian as the standard version includes meat. But they really put a lot of effort into creating a delicious vegetarian version as well. Make sure to come with an empty stomach because they will serve you A LOT of food!
Last year at the end of the season, all the reception staff of Balmers ordered the vegetarian Layaly Meza with the money that we received from tips
