Chi è Balmers Hostel?
Siamo l'ostello più antico e divertente della Svizzera! Siamo situati in tre tradizionali chalet svizzeri in legno che circondano un cortile, una terrazza e un giardino. L'aspetto e l'atmosfera del nostro alloggio possono essere meglio descritti come giocosi, confortevoli e unici.
Per chi è Balmers Hostel?
Balmers Hostel è per viaggiatori aperti e accomodanti di età pari o superiore a 18 anni in cerca di più di un semplice posto dove dormire.
Che tu sia qui per esplorare le Alpi svizzere, incontrare persone affini da tutto il mondo o semplicemente rilassarti e goderti l'atmosfera-Balmer è la tua casa lontano da casa.
Accogliamo con favore i viaggiatori da solista, gruppi di un massimo di 8 persone e chiunque abbia un senso di avventura e rispetto per gli altri.
A che ora è il check in e check out?
Il check in inizia alle 16:00/il check out è entro le 10:00. Al momento del check-out vi chiediamo gentilmente di portare con voi le lenzuola, i copripiumini e le federe dei cuscini.
I'm arriving really late, will I still be able to check in?
Sì, ma dovrai effettuare il check-in online. Successivamente prepareremo le tue chiavi in modo che tu possa accedere alla tua camera dopo la chiusura della reception.
Come a raggiungere l'ostello dalla stazione ferroviaria / stazione degli autobus?
In autobus:
Dalla stazione Interlaken Ovest prendere l'autobus numero 105 e scendere alla fermata Hotel Sonne. L'operazione richiede 5 minuti
Dalla Stazione Ost prendere l'autobus numero 104 e scendere alla fermata Hotel Sonne. L'operazione richiede 5 minuti
Siamo a circa 30 metri da entrambe le fermate. Il prezzo dell'autobus è di Sfr 3,80 a persona. Gli autobus iniziano a circolare dalle 07:00 alle 20:30 circa. Una volta arrivato all'ostello ti forniremo un pass gratuito per l'autobus per la tua comodità e per il resto del tuo soggiorno
A piedi:
Ci vogliono circa 20 minuti da entrambe le stazioni
Dalla stazione di Interlaken West – svoltare a sinistra fuori dalla stazione e seguire la strada principale, svoltare a destra alla rotatoria subito dopo Mc Donalds fino in fondo. Rimani sul lato sinistro della strada e cammina dritto finché non vedi i segnali marroni che indicano Balmers. Segui questi segnali
Come arrivare a Balmers dalla stazione di Interlaken Ovest
Dalla stazione di Interlaken Ost – uscite direttamente dalla stazione, tra la banca e il centro commerciale Coop, attraversate due rotatorie e seguite le indicazioni marroni per Balmers.
È anche possibile ottenere un taxi per circa 15 chf da entrambe le stazioni ferroviaria.

Idea for a spring hike between Thun and Interlaken 🌸
Start: The walk begins in Thun, where you will take the boat to Merlingen (check the boat timetable, there aren’t many)
🥾 Walking time: 4:00
↗️ 360 metres of altitude difference
🚩 Arrival at Interlaken West station
🛥️ The price of the boat from Thun to Merlingen and the train from Interlaken West back to Thun is CHF 21.80 with a half-fare card (CHF 43.60 without a season ticket)
🏔️ The walk takes in the famous St.Beatus Caves, which are open all year round and cost CHF 20

Balmer`s Hostel, Interlaken, Switzerland 🇨🇭
We came to Interlaken because this hostel was way cheaper than anything in Zurich, and we prefer the small towns anyway. Little did we know that this hostel would win our hearts with more than just its prices and good location. Turns out it`s the oldest private hostel in the whole of Switzerland, and it`s the coziest place ever. I couldn`t resist taking the camera around the whole hostel 😂

Is this the most breathtaking village in Switzerland? 🇨🇭✨ Mürren is a car-free alpine paradise, perched 1,650m above the Lauterbrunnen Valley with jaw-dropping views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
How to get there: Take a train to Lauterbrunnen, then hop on the cable car to Grütschalp. From there, a scenic mountain train takes you straight to Mürren. Alternatively, you can take the cable car via Stechelberg for a different route with incredible views.
