The Schilthorn is a European summit in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland. It overlooks the valley of Lauterbrunnen in the Bernese Oberland and is the highest mountain in the range lying north of the Sefinenfurgge Pass. The Schilthorn lies above the village of Mürren, from where a cable car leads to its summit.

At the top of Schilthorn, you will find the Piz Gloria restaurant, the famous restaurant used in the James Bond film “On Her Majesty ‘s Secret Service”. The restaurant completes one revolution in 55 minutes and serves delicious meals. You can even go up for a romantic champagne brunch.

- Come arrivare là Accesso al villaggio di Mürren e il vertice di Schilthorn è impossibile da strada. Per arrivarci dalla valle, prendere una serie di impianti di risalita, il primo da Stechelberg raggiungere Gimmelwald e Mürren. Dal secondo cavo Murren conduce a Birg, dove un terzo unì lo Schilthorn. Un altro modo per raggiungere Mürren è prendere la funivia da Lauterbrunnen a Grütschalp e poi il treno per Mürren o un 1 ora facile escursione con vedute splendide viste.
