Schilthorn is the top of a mountain in the Swiss Alps. The summit reaches 2970m above sea level and is situated near Lauterbrunnen and Mürren.

How to get to Schilthorn?

Diferentes opciones para llegar a Schilthorn:

#1. Access to the village of Mürren and the Schilthorn summit is impossible by road. To get there from the valley, take a series of cable cars, the first from Stechelberg to reach Gimmelwald and Mürren. Since Mürren's second cable leads to Birg, where a third joined the Schilthorn. It is a little bit long but you will enjoy spectacular views.

#2. Another way to reach Mürren is to take the cable car from Lauterbrunnen up Grütschalp and then the train to Mürren or a 1-hour easy hike with majestic views.

Once at the top of the mountain, the view is breathtaking. Just remember that you will be high in altitude and the temperature can be colder even in summer soasegúrate de traer una chaqueta. You can also take the stairs down the side of the mountain and walk along the edge, you will have amazing views. The gondola that takes you up and down to Schilthorn stops on its way to small villages, which are worth exploring.
